Hello Parkwoods families,

Hope all our players and their families had a great day and enjoyed the 2023 Parkwoods Winter Classic.

We would like to thank our coaches, refs, timekeepers, bakers and all our volunteers for giving their time and energy to the event.

We especially would like to thank Shauna Duff from Tim Hortons and the local Tim Horton’s location (2050 Victoria Park Ave, North York, ON M1R 1V2) who donated the coffee, hot chocolate and Tim Bits for the event.

Thanks to Oxford Learning for providing games for the kids as well as popcorn.

Thank you to all of you for getting your players there, cheering them on and supporting our bake sale and 50/50 raffle.

PARKWOODS HOCKEY LEAGUE

The Parkwoods Hockey League offers House League and Select Hockey Programs for our community.

Parkwoods’s success has always been deeply rooted in its players, sponsors and its volunteers (parents, coaches, sponsors, executives, and student) who have dedicated their time and countless hours to better the community and provide a safe, fun environment where kids can learn, develop and grow while making long-lasting friendships along the way.

Parkwoods Hockey could not have achieved its success over the years without the level of commitment and support from all of the past and present community partners – the parents, volunteers and sponsors.

Register Now for Power skating Session February 4th 7:45 – 8:30am.

Hello U9 and U11 parents,

We have a few spots left for the power skating session with Coach Greer this Saturday February 4th 7:45 – 8:30am at Fenside Arena for U9 and U11 divisions for current Parkwoods Players only.

The cost of the session is $20.and should be sent via eTransfer to treasurer.parkwoods@gmail.com.

A reminder that our welcome event is coming up soon. It will take place on Saturday February 18th from 4:30 – 6:30 pm at the Toronto Don Valley Hotel & Suites at 175 Wynford Drive.

One group of participants will be asked to arrive at 4:30 pm with a second group arriving at 5:30 pm. We will contact you with your arrival time later this week.

Please note that the welcome event is very important as your player will be sized and receive their equipment that day.

Our on ice sessions will start the following week on Saturday February 25th and will run until Saturday April 1st. The sessions will run from 5:30 – 6:30 pm at Fenside Arena at 30 Slidell Cres and will be led by Coach Greer, our amazing professional coach.
